BROKEN HOMES: What's God's View

The Devil has discovered a new way to win his battle against the Church. He has discovered long ago that tempting individuals will not work for him, so he has devised a new kind of tactics, tempt the homes confuse them, and when you succed, the Church is in trouble. We are living in a critical time in the history of man's existence on earth. Economy of nations are crumbling down every day. Human beings are confused, and this makes the devil celebrate.
One of the reasons we have so many broken homes is, people do not respect and honour thier marriage vows. Many young women become single mothers, and struggle to raise their own children. The reason is simple, many young men, even older men will blame it on economic hardship. But should economic hardship determine whether we are to keep our marriage vows or not? Another reason is that people do not comprehend the Character of God. Joseph Smith once put it this way, "if men do not comprehend the character of God, they cannot comprehend themselves." I feel I should reverse it this way, "when men do not respect and honour their marriage vows, they cannot respect and honour God."
The Bible says "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for[c] our sins.Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. " ( 1 John 4: 7-12)
If a man loves his wife, he will NEVER leave or abandoned her in the face of hardship, in fact that is the time to prove his love for her. if a woman love her husband, she will not divorce or leave him, no matter how hard the times seems to be. Just imagine God turning His back or leaving us at the moment we need Him most, then telling us I love you. even though sometime God does that, we might feel that is the moment we needed Him most, but He knows better than us.
If we, as christians will be honest with ourselves, we will know that the reason we have broken homes today is because we have abandoned God, His word, and will for us. We also fail to realize that we have the obliagtion to hold on to our vows, even in the face of danger, and trials.
God is not happy seeing us going through pains and sorrows. Imagine how God feels about the wives leaving alone with their children because the father is not their, or imagine God's feeling, seeing the man struggling the feed that little baby with milk, or changing the diapers, when the mother would have done that better.
When those children turns out to be what God never intended for them, we have failed God, failed ourselves, failed our children, and promote the devil's agenda.
Love is all we need to make our homes a place God will visit and heal us, answer us when we call upon Him. God is not happy about the number of broken home in the church today. We can do something. Keep your vows, no matter what!!
